King Motorsports Valve Cover Venting - B Series VTEC

Honda and Acura engines modified for performance, whether all-motor or forced induction, often require additional venting as the factory vents simply cannot handle the crankcase pressure generated. Adequate venting is crucial to keep crankcase pressure at a minimum to avoid premature internal mechanical wear, seal failures or excessive oil consumption.

We offer several options:

Stripping old paint: we can either strip your valve cover completely or just the weld area.

Finish: we can paint your valve cover with a baked-on wrinkle finish in either red or black, or we can leave it bare. If you choose to have us finish it, any raised lettering will be polished down to the bare aluminum just like OEM. If you want the raised lettering to be left painted, please make note of that in the "Notes" section when ordering.

Number of Fittings: 2 or 4

Size of Fittings: -10AN or -12AN

Location of Fittings: 2 fitting configurations will be installed on the back of the valve cover (unless otherwise noted in the "Notes" section when ordering). 4 fitting configuration is 2 on the front and 2 on the back.
 
At King, we have developed the most efficient configuration for each engine type, taking into consideration external limits of each valve cover, the baffle location(s) and engine component proximity. We have vented numerous valve covers for street, turbo, supercharged, drag strip, road race and SCCA Solo. We will be happy to advise you on the best configuration for your car.

The venting modification involves stripping your valve cover (either the entire cover or just the weld area), machining new holes or modifying the OEM ones, removing baffles and cleaning out all machining shards, reinstalling the baffles and finally welding in -AN fittings.

We can also finish your valve cover with a baked-on red or black wrinkle finish. The raised lettering can then either be polished like the OEM finish, or left painted.

Turn around time is 2-3 days from when we receive your valve cover.
